Fencing a windy site on a main road, in Garford, near Abingdon
Our customer, based in Garford, near Abingdon, need some strong fencing on the boundary of his property to replace a line of 40-year-old conifers which had been removed the day before. The property faced a main road, and the site was very open and prone to strong gusts of wind. Our installation team put in a 50m line of 1.8m high close-board fencing on our customer's boundary, and beefed up the structure by using a fence post every 1.8m instead of every 3m to give the fence more resistance against the wind.

Tricky fence lines for closeboard fencing jobs in Abingdon
We recently completed two closeboard fencing jobs in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Both were particularly challenging, as a large wall had to be removed prior to the fencing being fitted. You can also see a rather tricky fence line in one of the photos below, as we carefully navigated around a line of established tree in one of the gardens.
This is all part of the job, however; Trentwood Fencing's expert team can almost always find a solution to awkward situations like this. Despite the complications, the work was completed on time, and both customers were very happy.
